Questions + Answers

Is Transportation Provided

Wedding Day Transportation Transportation will be provided for all guests to and from the Maroon Bells ceremony. Because this is an intimate celebration, two separate shuttles will be available for the wedding party and guests: Bride’s Shuttle Guests traveling with the bride are warmly invited to join her shuttle. Pickup time: 1:30 p.m. Pickup location: 9 Lemond Place Snowmass Village, CO 81615 Groom’s Shuttle Guests traveling with the groom are invited to join the second shuttle. Pickup time: 1:30 p.m. Pickup location: 55 Upper Woodbridge Road, Suite A4, Snowmass Please plan to arrive at your designated pickup location at least 10–15 minutes before departure. Due to the restricted access and timing requirements at Maroon Bells, the shuttles will need to depart promptly. Following the ceremony, both shuttles will transport guests directly to the reception at the Viceroy Snowmass. At the conclusion of the evening, transportation may also be arranged through the hotel for guests returning to their nearby Airbnb accommodations. These rides will be available on an as-needed basis. Please speak with the wedding planning team or hotel staff during the reception should you require transportation at the end of the night.

What happends if I miss the shuttle?

Unfortunately, guests who miss the scheduled shuttle may not be able to access the ceremony. Please allow extra time and plan to arrive early.

What is the dress attire?

Cocktail attire. Ladies: Cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or elevated separates are perfect. Since mountain evenings can become chilly, bringing a light wrap or jacket is recommended. Gentlemen: Suits, sport coats, dress shirts, or cocktail attire are encouraged.

Are children invited?

While we adore your little ones, our wedding weekend will be an adults-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you.

What will the weather be like?

September in Aspen is beautiful but can vary throughout the day. Expect mild daytime temperatures and much cooler evenings. Mountain Weather The ceremony will take place outdoors in the mountains. September in Colorado can bring beautiful sunshine, cool temperatures, wind, rain, or even early-season snow, sometimes within the same day. Access to Maroon Bells is weather-dependent, and late-season snow is possible. We recommend bringing: A jacket, wrap, or warm layer Sunglasses Sunscreen A small umbrella, depending on the forecast Please check the Aspen weather forecast before leaving for the ceremony. Attire and Footwear The ceremony site includes paved and natural surfaces. We recommend comfortable shoes, block heels, wedges, or heel protectors. Thin stilettos may be difficult to wear on uneven ground. For a September mountain ceremony, layers are strongly encouraged. Even when the afternoon is sunny, temperatures can become noticeably cooler in shaded areas and later in the day.

Should I be concerned about the elevation?

Maroon Bells and Snowmass are located at high elevation. We encourage guests to drink plenty of water, eat regularly, limit alcohol before the ceremony, and allow time to adjust to the altitude.

Will the ceremony take place if it rains?

The ceremony is planned to take place outdoors. Guests should come prepared for changing mountain weather. Any important weather-related updates will be communicated directly to guests. We encourage to bring layers and perhaps an umbrella
